Apple announced their fourth quarter financial call for Q4 2012, scheduling it on October 25th, from 2 pm Pacific time (5 pm Eastern). The results should include the successful launch of the iPhone 5, which sold over 5 million units in the first three days it was on sale in the US. In addition, the iPhone 5 was launched in 22 other countries, with 100 more to come in the months ahead.
Last quarter, Apple reported $35 billion in revenue with a net profit of $8.8 billion, says Mac Stories, with an earnings report of $9.32 per diluted share. This is an increase over last year’s Q4 results, which are reported as $24.98 billion, a net profit of $6.62 million, and earnings at $7.02 per diluted share. Apple’s expectations of this year’s Q4 is at $34 billion revenue and earnings per diluted share of $7.65.
